"Ethos", The 18" Blade Made of 1000-Layer Damascus Steel | Jonas Blade

“Ethos”, The 18″ Blade Made of 1000-Layer Damascus Steel

In addition to the “Unstoppable” Shepherd’s Axe Cane, another piece from my collaboration with Wanderer Metalworks is “Ethos”. This also happens to be 1 of the 3 pieces that I showcased during The Art Knife Invitational in October 2025.

Now “Ethos” features a 18” blade made of undisputed 1000-layer damascus steel, with a hilt in African blackwood and fittings in gold, jade, and steel. The exquisite bolster features extensive engraving, sculpting, inlay, and overlay done by Tyler at Wanderer Metalworks. I also had SharpByCoop do his thing by documenting this beauty with photos.

“Ethos” was also featured as a part of a video reel created for 1 of my TikTok Marketing campaigns by URPERSONA.
